Maybe later. With so many major events on the WWE calendar, the company has to come up with ways to put the best lineups out there as possible on any given show. This might mean holding off on some of their biggest matches and saving them for just the right moment. WWE might be doing that again with a match that has had some clamor behind it since January.

Back in January at the Royal Rumble, Brock Lesnar and Gunther had a showdown, causing fans to begin speculating over a future match between the two. No such match took place at WrestleMania, but a rumor earlier this week said it might take place this summer. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are no plans in place for the match to happen anytime soon, including at Summerslam. While Lesnar is expected to work the show, it will not be against Gunther.

Opinion: WWE planted that seed for a reason and there is every chance that we will be seeing a major showdown between those two at some point in the future. Gunther feels like he could be the next big thing for WWE and a win over Lesnar would be a big step in that direction. It would make sense to put this on as big of a stage as possible, and that might mean waiting to make it right.
