That’s a big one. We are coming up on the next AEW pay per view event and that means the card is starting to come together. The show, Double Or Nothing, takes place on May 28 in Las Vegas, Nevada and will feature a variety of AEW matches. The company has a history of taking time to set up its shows and that is the case again. Now we know another match likely set for the show.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Split? AEW Reportedly Considering “Soft” Roster Split With New Saturday Show

This week on AEW Dynamite, Swerve Strickland cost Keith Lee a match against Chris Jericho. This continued a feud between the two of them that started when their tag team split in December 2022. The two have attacked each other since then but they have yet to have a singles match. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, their first match is expected to take place at Double Or Nothing.

The two do have a history. Check out how we got this far:

Opinion: This is a match that has been set up for a good while now and the match is going to be over five months after the initial split. That is a very long time in the making but thankfully there is still enough heat between the two of them to make something like this work. As long as AEW can keep that going over the next month and a half, everything should work out.
