He’s still in. Contracts are some of the most important things in all of wrestling as they can guarantee that someone is going to be part of a promotion for a good while. Those are the kinds of things that can make someone’s career as they will suddenly have a job for a long time to come. That is what another AEW star now has and it is going to last for a good while.

One of the stories floating around AEW in recent weeks has been the contract status of Brian Cage. Despite being one third of the Ring Of Honor Six Man Tag Team Champions and appearing on AEW Dynamite, Cage was working without a contract, as his expired the night of Supercard Of Honor earlier this month. Earlier this week, Cage was reported to have signed a new deal, which according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, is a five year company with an option for a sixth. As a result, Cage, 39, will be with AEW until at least 2028.

Cage has been a monster in AEW. Check out some of his time there:

Opinion: Signing Cage up makes sense for AEW as you need to have some people sticking around for a long time to come. Given the fact that he is currently a champion makes it all the more important and thankfully they have figured things out. Cage is going to be around for a rather good while now and hopefully AEW can figure out a good way to use someone with his talents.

How has Cage done in AEW? How should he be used there? Let us know in the comments below.
