It’s quite the new job. One of the more less talked about parts of wrestling is how the talent can get out of the business. There are all kinds of wrestlers and so many of the aren’t going to be able to find a new career outside of the business. Some are more than ready to move into a new line of work though and a name that you might not have thought of in a long time has done just that.
According to Oswego (New York) County Today, Marc Copani, formerly known as Muhammad Hassan in WWE, has been named the new principal of Fulton Junior High School, effective July 1. Copani had served as an assistant principal at a high school in the same area before moving into his new job. Hassan’s WWE career ended in 2005, though he wrestled three matches for an independent promotion in New York in 2018.
You might not remember him. Check out one of the biggest matches of Hassan’s career:
Opinion: Good for him. This is the kind of thing that a lot of wrestlers aren’t able to do and it’s nice to see that Copani has figured out a career for himself after getting out of wrestling. I never liked how he was sent out of WWE but thankfully he has landed on his feet and found a career that he can work in for years. Hopefully it goes better than his wrestling career, which could have been a lot more interesting under some different circumstances.
