Punishment, WWE style. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been one of the most entertaining things about WWE in recent weeks. Zayn’s heel turn has breathed fresh life into his character and it’s made him far better than he’s been for the last several months. However, the team might have hit a roadblock. As previously announced, Owens and Zayn have been sent home from the WWE tour of Europe. Now though, we have an idea of why.

According to Prowrestlingsheet.com, Owens and Zayn disobeyed orders to have New Day beat them up after Zayn lost to Kofi Kingston on this week’s “Smackdown Live”. Instead of staying for the beating, Owens got in a few shots before he and Zayn left the ring. This left the production team in a weird place as they didn’t know whose music to play, leading to an awkward ending.

Here’s the match that set up the incident.

Kofi Kingston vs. Sami Zayn: SmackDown LIVE, Nov. 7, 2017

Opinion: While this might not sound like the biggest misstep in the world, Owens and Zayn were given an order and didn’t follow it. You can do a few alterations here and there but changing the entire thing like that isn’t the brightest move in the world. Hopefully this isn’t a major punishment as they’re one of the best things on the show right now.

Do you think Owens and Zayn will be in bigger trouble than this? Should they have been punished in the first place? Let us know in the comments below.
