Another day, another name on the roster. WWE has been expanding its roster in a big way over the last few years and with Impact Wrestling regularly getting rid of talent over the last week, there’s a lot of talent to be snatched up in a hurry. It seems that WWE may be getting its hands on another former champion in the near future.

According to PWinsider.com, former X-Division Champion Rockstar Spud is going to sign with WWE once his visa issues are all settled. Once he is cleared to sign, he will likely be joining the “205 Live” roster. There is no word on when he would be signing, but it would seem to be sooner rather than later. Rockstar Spud was released from his Impact Wrestling contract last week.

Here’s one of his last appearances with Impact Wrestling.

Opinion: I’m happy for Rockstar Spud, who has the reputation of being one of the nicest guys in the wrestling business. After the work he put in for Impact Wrestling, it would be nice to see him get a chance to really show what he can do on a much bigger stage for what is likely a much larger paycheck.
