Don’t annoy the “Modern Day Maharaja.” It won’t end well.

Jinder Mahal recently posted the following message to his Instagram account, in regards to his loss of the WWE Championship to AJ Styles this past week on “Smackdown Live:”

To my haters and wrestling “insiders”, this was NOT an experiment, I am NOT injured, I have NOT violated the wellness policy. So keep throwing shade my way , it only motivates me.

There had been rumors circulating that Mahal was injured and was working through those, which is why he hadn’t been competing on WWE programming much as of late.

AJ Styles will now be competing in a “champion vs. champion” match at “Survivor Series,” when he takes on the Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar.

Editor’s Opinion:

I’ve said it many times before, and I’ll say it again: Jinder Mahal is the man, and has earned every single accolade that he has received. There are some who will say that this  decision is a knee-jerk reaction to the WWE fans who have been complaining about Mahal’s title reign; I say that this feud between Mahal and Styles is not over yet, and that we still may see the “Modern Day Maharaja” at “Survivor Series.”
