I’d says he’s worth a look. There are certain stars in wrestling history who are going to be remembered far more than others. You know who these names are as soon as they are mentioned and with rather little thought as there is no one like them in wrestling. That is something that will always be the case and sometimes you can have a good time looking back at their histories. Another wrestling legend is getting the same treatment.

There will never be another star like Steve Austin. Over the course of a multiple year run, Austin became possibly the most popular wrestling star of all time and carrying the WWE on his back to unprecedented heights. Now nearly twenty years after his retirement, Austin is still a bit of a pop culture name, having hosted several television shows and dabbling in acting. That is quite the career and someone is looking back at it.

ECW Press, by way of 411mania.com, has announced that a new book about Austin, titled 316 Facts And Stories About Stone Cold Steve Austin will be released on March 16, in honor of 3:16 Day. The book is written by Michael McAvennie, who has worked for both WWE and DC Comics. There is no word on if Austin himself was actually involved in the making of the book.

Austin does have quite the history. Check out what made him famous:

Opinion: I’m not sure how much new information there is going to be in a book like this, but it is one of those things that is going to get attention because of who is involved. Austin may not be as well known as he was before, but he was the biggest wrestling star in the world for a generation of fans and this is the kind of thing that is going to draw more than a few eyes.
