You have to fill in the gaps. Wrestlers come and go from WWE’s roster all the time. You never know who you might see coming and going from one stretch to another. Some might be called up, some might leave to go elsewhere and some might never make it out of the Performance Center. As a result, WWE seems obsessed with hiring as many names as they can and that might be the case again.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is looking into bringing in some new names. The biggest of these stars would be Kushida (also spelled as KUSHIDA), the current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion. The other two names on the company’s radar at the moment are Karen Q and Rachel Ellering. Both have appeared in the Mae Young Classic, with Ellering appearing in the first year’s tournament and Karen Q in this year’s edition. There is no word on if any of the three are interested in signing.

You might need to get to know this guy. Check out some of Kushida’s finest work, of which there is a lot:

Opinion: I don’t know if this is in a response to All Elite Wrestling or not, but if it is, it makes sense. While WWE might not be able to buy Kenny Omega, the Young Bucks or Cody, they could sign up a lot of the people who could fill out the rest of the card underneath them. With the other top talent available taken, All Elite Wrestling isn’t going to go very far.
