It can happen to anyone. Wrestlers are a lot of things, but two of the most important details are the fact that they are athletic humans. Therefore, in the physical work that they do, being injured is always a possibility. You never can tell when something bad is going to happen or how bad it is going to be and that is a very scary prospect. It seems that a nasty injury may have taken place on Wednesday.
During this week’s edition of NXT, the Undisputed Era’s Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish defended the NXT Tag Team Titles against the team of Keith Lee and Dominick Dijakovic. Early in the match, Lee threw Fish over the top rope onto O’Reilly, which caused Fish to suffer some sort of injury. The landing sent the match to a commercial break and the show came back with Roderick Strong having replaced Fish in the match. There is no word on how severe of an injury this could be or if Fish will miss any ring time.

It was a nasty landing. Check out when the injury took place, plus some more of the match:
Opinion: This is one of those things where all we can do is wait and see how bad things are. An injury is the kind of thing that you never can escape and it can happen to anyone at any time. Fish is someone with a history of knee injuries before and hopefully it isn’t as bad as it could be. The Undisputed Era is on fire right now and it would be a shame to have that derailed by anything, including something like this.
What happens if Fish is out of action for a long time? Who will take the titles from the Undisputed Era? Let us know in the comments below.
