That could be a lot worse. There are all kinds of injuries that can take place at any given point in wrestling and you never know when someone is going to get injured. Occasionally a spot will take place in a match that looks incredibly scary but winds up being far less horrible that it seems. Thankfully that was the case again this weekend, as things were not as bad as they seemed.

On Friday during AEW Rampage, Roderick Strong defeated Action Andretti in a singles match. During the match, Strong was dropped on his head while taking a Spanish Fly. The match was briefly stopped as the doctor checked on Strong, though he was able to get up and continue the match. According to Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com, Strong is said to be ok, though Alvarez said he wasn’t sure how. Strong also sent out a tweet, saying “can’t keep me down”. There is nothing to suggest that Strong will miss time from the ring.
The word is he's OK, I have no idea how https://t.co/7coxncZov8

Strong is on a roll as of late. Check out what he has been doing in recent week (the botch is included in the first match at around 1:07):
Opinion: I gasped when I saw Strong land on his head like that and was incredibly relieved to see him move, let alone keep the match going. The fact that he was able to finish the match and seems to be ok after everything else is a good sign. Strong has already missed enough time lately and thankfully he bounced back and seems to be fine, which means we should be seeing him back in the ring soon.
