It’s that time of year. We are less than a week away from WrestleMania 38 and the biggest WWE event of the year. The show is mostly set and we know who we should and shouldn’t expect for the card. Now that things are set, it is time to hype everything up as well as possible, and WWE seems to have a plan to do that next week, even if it means breaking some rules in the process.
According to PWInsider.com, several SmackDown names are booked for next week’s edition of Monday Night Raw. This includes SmackDown Tag Team Champions the Usos, who have already been announced for a match against Raw Tag Team Champions RKBro. In addition, Intercontinental Champion Ricochet and Shinsuke Nakamura and set to appear, along with Sasha Banks, Naomi, Natalya and Shayna Baszler, who will be on opposite sides in an eight woman tag. There is no word on if any other SmackDown stars are expected to appear on the show.
Opinion: While WWE has rules about Monday Night Raw and SmackDown starts appearing on the other shows, this is one of those all hands on deck moments. WWE has five hours of major television left next week to push the idea forward and that might be a lot harder than it seems. They need to have a way to bring some of the more important ideas to television and this is as good of an idea as any.
