Miz Working On New Television Series With WWE

The empire expands. Whether you like him or not, there is no denying that the Miz has become one of the bigger WWE stars of this generation. There is almost nothing he has not won and he is one of the more consistent performers the company has. That makes him valuable in several ways, including in projects outside of WWE. We might be seeing another one from Miz and family soon.

In addition to being a pretty big wrestling star, Miz has also become a bit of a name outside of the company. This includes his time on the Real World before he came to WWE, as well as his reality show Miz and Mrs., plus hosting Cannonball. Throw in his acting resume and Miz has been involved in quite a bit of things outside of just wrestling. Now that list might be growing.

In a new post to Instagram, Miz has announced he and his wife Maryse are working on a new show with WWE Studios. There are no details on the production, including whether it will be scripted or reality based. Miz says that both networks and streaming services will be interested in broadcasting the show. Miz and Mrs. is currently in its second season, though its most recent episode aired in March.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that shows Miz being smart enough to realize that he will not be wrestling forever. Miz is now 40 years old and has been a regular on WWE television for over fourteen years. There comes a point where he is not going to be able to wrestle any longer and it is a good idea to get the big money that he can now while also setting up a career for himself later. Good for him and maybe it can work.
