The grass is always greener? The battle between WWE and AEW has gone from non-existent to a pretty big deal in less than a year. This is the first major competition that WWE has had for a very long time now and it is interesting to see where things go in the near and far futures. WWE as a company may not be the most worried about AEW, but its wrestlers seem to have been interested in checking out their options.

There is no denying that WWE has a lot of talented wrestlers on its roster. Between their two main rosters and NXT, the company has more wrestlers than it knows what to do with most of the time. That makes for some awesome moments when the talent is used in a big way, but not all of them are going to get that chance. Some of them might want to go elsewhere, and it seems that a lot of them have asked about it.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, aside from Roman Reigns and a few others, “virtually everyone” in WWE has contacted AEW to see if they can find work somehow. According to Heelbynature.com, Universal Champion Braun Strowman has denied ever contacting AEW to look for work. There is no word on who AEW would or would not be interested in signing.

Strowman has been having quite the success in WWE. Check out some of his better moments:

Opinion: I’m not sure I can buy the idea of the vast majority of wrestlers trying to see if there was interest from AEW. Naturally some of them would be looking, but that high of a number seems to be unlikely. It also isn’t surprising that Reigns and Strowman were uninterested. They are both top stars and people who could be major WWE names for a very long time to come.

Who would you like to see go to AEW? Who would never make such a jump? Let us know in the comments below.
