We might not be done yet. Money In The Bank has been around for fifteen years now and has become one of the staples of WWE throughout that time. The briefcase has been won several times over the years with all kinds of people holding the thing. At the same time, WWE seems to be running out of ways to have someone cash it in, but now they might have a bit of a twist.

This year’s men’s Money In The Bank briefcase was a pretty rare breed as Otis was the original winner but Miz won it from him at Hell In A Cell in October. That made Miz a two time Money In The Bank holder and he had already successfully cashed it in before. He failed in his second cash-in attempt, but things might not have been as cut and dry as they seemed.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Miz claimed that it was actually John Morrison who cashed in his briefcase at Tables, Ladders And Chairs, meaning that his contract should be returned. Later in the show, Miz was shown on the phone trying to make talk his way into getting the briefcase back. There is no word on any plans to give Miz the briefcase back, meaning it would be done until Money In The Bank 2021.

Miz wasn’t happy. Check out what seemed to be his cash-in and his claims on Monday Night Raw:

Opinion: I’m not sure what to think about this one as on one hand, this would be something fresh with the briefcase, but at the same time I don’t need to see the briefcase used again for a long time. The briefcase stays around for most of the year at times and I could go for a break from the whole concept. Maybe WWE has a good idea for it this time around, but it needs to be something new.

What do you think of the idea? Will Miz’s plan work? Let us know in the comments below.
