TLC is in the books, as is this title match.

It’s been a heated rivalry between Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles, especially with addition of the unlikely superstar James Ellsworth to the mix. Styles has been the Champ That Runs the Camp since defeating Ambrose at Backlash, but that was without an array of tables, ladders, and chairs involved. Would the result be any different with that hardware involved? Would it be Ambrose or Styles who would next defend WWE’s most prestigious prize against the Man With Two Hands?

Turns out that Ellsworth had the whole world fooled, turning his back on Dean Ambrose to ensure that AJ Styles retained the championship. Ambrose and Styles had a hellacious match, with both men going through tables and making big leaps off of huge ladders–even AJ’s pants couldn’t withstand the action, developing a major rip durign the match. Ambrose had the title in his grasp until Ellsworth knocked a ladder out from under him. What’s behind Ellsworth’s sudden turn? We’ll have to find out on Tuesday.

TLC is over, but don’t miss out on the full results! The 2016 edition of Tables, Ladders, and Chairs was broadcast live on the WWE Network from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
