Lucky Him. The Miz Gets To Do Something Pretty Cool (Again).

It comes with the Miz territory. While WWE Superstars may not be the biggest mainstream celebrities in the world, they are certainly stars in their own right. This means they are going to be included in various celebrity appearances and several of these will involve some form of athletics. That is the case for one major WWE name and it isn’t even the first time he has done this.

As announced on WWE.com, the Miz will be taking part in the 2019 Major League Baseball All Star Weekend Celebrity Softball Game. This will be Miz’s second consecutive appearance in the game after he won the Most Valuable Player award last year. The game was played in Miz’s hometown of Cleveland on Sunday and will be airing on Monday night on ESPN as part of All Star Game week.

Opinion: As a lifelong Cleveland Indians fan, it’s nice to see the city get some focus and attention around one of the most entertaining times of a baseball season. Miz certainly seems to have a good time with this sort of thing and that’s the right idea behind it. If nothing else, it’s certainly cool to see him win an award for what he did last year and I’m sure WWE didn’t mind it either.
