So Long? Major Changes Coming To 205 Live.

They have to do something with 205 Live. WWE offers a lot of content every single week, with a case to be made that there is too much of it in the first place. With so many things to watch, at some point something is going to be forgotten, or at least downgraded quite a bit. That seems to be the case with a certain weekly show of theirs, but a change may be on the horizon.

Triple H recently spoke to Newsweek about the future of 205 Live, which he says has been lost in limbo. He went on to say that there is talent on the 205 Live brand but the wrestlers as well as the Cruiserweight Title may be moving more towards the NXT brand in the future. The wrestlers could also appear on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live. There was no timetable given for a potential move, or any mention of the show being scrapped and absorbed into NXT.

Opinion: The only thing I can wonder here is what took them so long. This would seem to be the most logical move that they could have made and it should have been done a long time ago. The Full Sail crowd would care about 205 Live so much more and it’s true that the Cruiserweight Title would make more sense in NXT, or at least in front of that audience. It clearly isn’t working as its own show with the empty arenas being a nightmare for WWE. Just do the smart thing and get them together already.
