Cardona said that he would certainly take a phone call from WWE and have a conversation with them, saying it would take “cash and creative” to get him back into the company. He went on to say that he does not want to be just another guy on the roster, as he already “did that”. Cardona left WWE in 2020 and has wrestled in a variety of promotions since, including Impact Wrestling and AEW.

Opinion: It’s hard to imagine Cardona coming back to WWE but at the end of the day, he has done quite a bit to change his career since leaving WWE. He is a different kind of star now, though it doesn’t make a difference if the promotion does not see him like that. There is the chance that he could show up there again, and it could be rather interesting to see what what the new Cardona could do there.
