In a question and answer session on his official Facebook page, Angle confirmed that he has torn a muscle in his leg. The injury occurred two days before “Survivor Series 2017” while Angle was running wind sprints. Angle participated in the ten man elimination tag main event where he was the final member eliminated from the “Monday Night Raw” team. There is no word on if Angle will have surgery to fix the issue. Here’s the comment:
“Leg is ok. I tore a muscle in it doing wind sprints 2 days before PPV. It’s okay though. I feel good and should be 100% in a week.”
Here are some of Angle’s better days.
Opinion: There comes a point with wrestlers where they’re just not going to be able to do anything else in the ring. Angle just can’t stay healthy no matter what and if he’s getting hurt working out, how smart is it to ask him to do a long form match on a major stage? He hasn’t looked great in his matches and the more injuries he has, the worst this is going to get. I don’t need to see him wrestle again and I’d be very glad if WWE held him out of the ring before there’s a far worse injury.
Should Angle be allowed to wrestle again? If so, where should his final match be? Let us know in the comments below.
