PHOTO: How Kind Of Him. Steve Austin Gives Triple H A Very Nice Gift.

Who says bitter rivals can’t wind up friends? There have been some incredible rivalries in the history of WWE with some of the bigger ones being the best of all time. While Steve Austin vs. The Rock is one of the most famous, Austin vs. Triple H is right up there as well. That was a long time ago though and now things are a little bit better between them, to the point of giving a gift.

On his Twitter account, Triple H shared a photo of Austin giving him a framed picture of Motorhead as a gift when the two were backstage at this week’s Monday Night Raw. Triple H is a longtime fan of the band, who played him to the ring at two Wrestlemanias and performed various theme songs for him over the years. Triple H even spoke at the funeral of Lemmy, the band’s lead singer.

Opinion: That’s quite a cool gift from Austin and the kind of thing that is perfectly suited for Triple H. I know wrestlers have some big egos and seem to be rather distant at times, but these people do travel the roads together and spend more time with each other than they do with their families. It’s nice to see something like this as you wouldn’t expect to see it in many other lines of work.
