Here’s a good update for a change. If there’s one thing you never want to see in wrestling, it’s an injury. Earlier this week on “Smackdown Live”, Heath Slater appeared to injure his knee when he came off the ropes while diving into a superkick. Slater was banged up after the match and it wasn’t clear what his condition was.

After the show, Slater said he was going to have to see the doctor, raising the possibility that he was injured. However, in an update from his official Twitter account, Slater says that there is no injury, though he’s very sore. There’s no word on what Slater will be doing next, though his partnership with Rhyno doesn’t seem to be in the best of places at the moment.

That’s some good news for a change. Slater has been very entertaining in recent weeks and it would be a shame to have him go on the shelf for any extended period of time. I mean, the man has kids! The fact that Slater is in the place he’s in at this point is almost remarkable but he’s made it work so far.
