Something close to a sibling rivalry. Two weeks ago on “Smackdown Live”, the tag team division took a hit as the Hype Bros split up. Mojo Rawley laid out his partner and seemingly his best friend Zack Ryder, turning himself heel and leaving the tag division one team weaker. A match between the two seemed clear and that’s where we’re heading in the near future.
This week on “Smackdown Live”, it was announced that Ryder and Rawley will face each other on the “Clash of Champions 2017” Kickoff Show. The match was made when Ryder issued a challenge to Rawley in a YouTube video. Rawley accepted later in the day and the match was announced during the broadcast.
Here’s Ryder’s challenge.
Zack Ryder calls out Mojo Rawley for WWE Clash of Champions: Exclusive, Dec. 12, 2017
Opinion: Makes as much sense as anything else. It’s a match that was started a few weeks back and then we only got a quick promo from Rawley last week. Let them get it out of the way so neither can go anywhere in the show full of midcard acts that “Smackdown Live” has become in recent months.
Who do you think wins here? Which of the two has the better upside going forward? Let us know in the comments below.
