You might have heard about this one recently.
Today, Omega didn’t seem pleased with the idea that fans thought AJ Styles vs. John Cena at “Royal Rumble 2017” was on the same level and let people know about it on Twitter.
Here are a few of the several tweets Omega sent out on the subject, including multiple exchanges over whether or not New Japan is a minor league compared to WWE:
You can't compare apples and oranges. And at the end of the day, I could easily have Cena and AJ's best match in WWE. There is no argument.

way more pressure having to perform high quality matches in Japan. Both athletically and mentally.

Obviously your individual taste may vary but I certainly wouldn’t call New Japan a minor league by comparison to WWE. New Japan is pretty easily the second biggest wrestling company in the world and the annual Wrestle Kingdom show is one of the most important and best of the year. Omega could have some excellent matches with either Cena or Styles and I wouldn’t mind seeing either of those matches happening.
Do you think Omega is right? Do you think he’ll come to WWE anytime soon? Let us know in the comments below.
