Keith Lee’s Elimination Chamber Status “Up In The Air”

That might be worrying. We are less than five days away from Elimination Chamber and as usual, WWE does not seem to have all of the final touches on the card. They made quite the big change to the WWE Title match inside the Elimination Chamber during this week’s Monday Night Raw and it turns out that they might not be done with the adjustments to the card.

While the majority of the focus for the pay per view is going to be on the show’s namesake matches, there are a few other pieces to the card that deserve some attention as well. Some of these matches are going to have titles on the line and need some build to help shut them up. However, one name was notably absent during this week’s Monday Night Raw and that may not bode well.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, there is a chance that Keith Lee may be removed from the triple threat match for the United States Title as his status is currently “up in the air”. Lee is scheduled to challenge Bobby Lashley for the title, along with Riddle. There is no word on why Lee could be removed from the match, but he was not on this week’s Monday Night Raw. Lee has only wrestled four times this year, including twice on the January 11 Monday Night Raw.

Opinion: I really can’t say I’m surprised by this as Lee has had one of the rockiest times on the main roster as almost any call up in recent memory. For some reason WWE decided to push him in NXT but then has left him with nothing to do for a good chunk of his time on Monday Night Raw. I’m not sure why as the talent is all there, but something just is not clicking and it is a little bit frustrating to say the least.
