Shake em up. With the departure of John Bradshaw Layfield from the WWE commentary team, it was clear that a change was necessary. The question was whether someone would be brought in to replace him or if the current lineup would be shaken up to make some changes. As it turns out, we now have our answer.

According to a Tweet sent out by WWE, Corey Graves will be sent to “Smackdown Live” to replace Layfield. Graves will be leaving “205 Live” and “Main Event” with Nigel McGuinness taking his place. This will put McGuinness on three shows at once, along with “NXT”. There is no word on if Graves will be leaving “Monday Night Raw”.

Graves has been on the move a lot this year, including leaving “NXT” back in February.

Corey Graves says farewell to NXT: WWE NXT, Feb. 1, 2017

Opinion: Well at least it’s not David Otunga. I’ve often wondered what the point was in having Graves go from “Monday Night Raw” to the “Smackdown Live” taping for “205 Live” so just putting him on the big show makes sense. I’d be curious to see if he’ll be doing both main shows, which seems like quite the workload. Then again, taking him off the other shows would balance it out for the most part so it’s not completely out of the question.

Do you like Graves in the role? Who else should be added to the commentary team? Let us know in the comments below.
