They might need some better planning. There are certain things that WWE could do better. One of the most infamous stories you will regularly hear is about how the script is changed at the last minute. It often comes off that WWE does not know what they are going to do until they have no time left. That seems to have been the case at one of the biggest shows of the year.
Last month, Becky Lynch made her surprise return to WWE at Summerslam after a year plus away due to maternity leave. She would defeat Bianca Belair to win the SmackDown Women’s Title in 26 seconds as a replacement opponent when Sasha Banks did not appear on the show. Belair spoke to Inside The Ropes and revealed that the decision to have her lose the title to Lynch was made at the very last minute. Belair said that the decision was made just as she was ready to go to the ring. She described the emotions that were on her face in the ring were real, as she was shocked.
These two have quite the chemistry. Check out how their feud has gone so far:
Opinion: This is one of those things that does not exactly make WWE look great. At the end of the day, Lynch’s return and a title change are two major events. It isn’t a good sign to have them making decisions at the last second. This seems to have been a problem for a very long time now and I can’t imagine that they get better at something like this anytime soon.
