Sunday night at the “2018 Royal Rumble”, Rousey debuted to close the show. As of this writing, that clip on WWE’s YouTube has earned 2.5 million views. From the same show however, the clip of Rey Mysterio’s return in the Royal Rumble has drawn over three times that many views with 7.9 million. The match was Mysterio’s first in WWE since April 2014.

Opinion: If WWE wasn’t interested in bringing Mysterio back full time, they certainly should be now. Mysterio’s return was by far and away the most viewed clip from the pay per view with Rousey’s being the second most viewed. While Mysterio might not be a full time guy anymore, WWE would be missing a big opportunity by not bringing him in, possibly as part of the Hall of Fame or for a “Wrestlemania XXXIV” match.
