You have to keep the rosters moving. AEW is in an interesting place as they have easily become the second biggest wrestling promotion in the United States if not the world. That’s not bad considering we are still not even a year removed from their first event and just over six months into their run on weekly television. However, they still have some adjustments to make and one those is signing new talent, as they have done.

There are a lot of spots that still need to be filled in on the AEW roster. Part of the problem with the way their company is set up is that they launched almost everyone available right at the start. That is fine for a strong start, but it can cause things to get a little repetitive unless some fresh names are brought in on a regular basis. That is what AEW has done again this time.

AEW has announced that they have officially signed Anna Jay to a contract, making her an official part of the AEW roster. Jay made her debut for the company on last week’s Dynamite in a loss to Hikaru Shida. There is no word on when Jay (whose name was spelled Jayy during her Dynamite appearance) will next be wrestling for the company. AEW has taped over a month’s worth of content going forward.

Jayy must have made an impression. Check out her AEW debut match which got her a job:

Opinion: It says a lot when you can move that far in just a single match. AEW’s women’s division has been hit or miss so far so maybe Jay can get in a bigger spot in a hurry. Jay has a good look and is someone who could become a player in the division rather quickly. It’s not like there is a ton of history to the division and while it is rich with talent, someone could still break in.

How big of a success will Jay be in AEW? Who will she feud with first? Let us know in the comments below.
