See you soon. The wrestling world (along with the rest of it) has been turned upside down at the moment. Everything is going nuts and there is no sign that it is going to be getting any better for a few weeks (at the very, very earliest). This is the kind of thing that wrestling companies are going to have to find a way around and AEW might have found a way to do just that.

The biggest problem with wrestling shows at the moments comes down to not being allowed to run events with more than ten people in a single place at once. That might work back in a territory era live event but it’s a big different with a two hour television show. That’s hard to do every week, but if you cut around the edges quite a bit, it can be done. That seems to be the case at the moment.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, AEW is currently on an indefinite hiatus after taping several weeks worth of television in a marathon taping session over the course of this week. The shows taped could last them all the way into May, with their next scheduled event being Double Or Nothing on May 23. At the moment the show is still scheduled, but it may still be changed as the situations change.

Things have been picking up as of late in AEW. Check out what they have been up to:

Opinion: It’s certainly an idea, but I’m not sure how long they can keep this up. How many such marathon tapings can you have given the current circumstances? That being said, this is a lot better than nothing and at least AEW has probably a month or more of shows ready to go, which should let them have some freedom as they move forward into this whole situation.
