So that’s where we’re going. With WrestleMania 36 out of the way, it’s time to start looking ahead to the future. If WrestleMania is the season finale for WWE, the Monday Night Raw after is its season premiere. Things are a little bit different this time around but there are still going to be some things that you can count on. One of those is a detail that we now know after the show is over.

WrestleMania 36 Night Two opened with Charlotte defeating Rhea Ripley to win the NXT Women’s Title for the second time. The match was a hard hitting and back and forth fight with Charlotte eventually making Ripley submit to the Figure Eight. This is interesting as Charlotte is a full time Monday Night Raw star, so what does this mean for her future on both shows?

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Charlotte will be appearing on both Monday Night Raw and NXT going forward. The current plan is for Charlotte to help boost NXT’s ratings by bringing main roster star power to the show, which could help in the battle against AEW Dynamite. It is not clear if Charlotte will be wrestling on NXT live events when the brand begins touring again.

The champ is here again. Check out the WrestleMania title match:

Opinion: This is something that makes sense, though I’m still not exactly thrilled with Charlotte beating Ripley. At the end of the day, this is Charlotte’s twelfth title in about six years. We are long past the point where Charlotte winning another title was seen as a joke and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Either way, I hope Ripley can bounce back from this, which she should be able to, even if she shouldn’t have to in the first place.

Did you like the title change? How long will Charlotte hold the title? Let us know in the comments below.
