That’s a relief. One of the worst parts about a wrestler being injured is wondering how long they are going to be on the shelf. There is almost no way of knowing the extent of an injury as someone being hurt could put them out of action for a long time. However, some injuries seem to be a lot scarier than they actually are, and thankfully that seems to be the case with another from this week.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Humberto Carrillo is ok after an injury scare during his match against Sheamus on Monday Night Raw. Carrillo could “wrestle tomorrow” if he needed to. Carrillo’s match against Sheamus ended in a referee stoppage when Sheamus landed on Carrillo’s leg during a sunset bomb. The two laid on the outside for a few moments before the referee stopped the match and awarded Sheamus the victory. There is no word on if WWE will make an angle out of the injury scare.
This could have been worse. Check out how the match went, plus what a healthy Carrillo can do:
Opinion: That’s q uite the relief as the injury did not look good when it first happened. You could have someone just land slightly off on their knee and have it banged up for a long time. Instead it was a rather large grown man landing on it, which could have gone far worse. Carrillo is someone with potential given how smooth he can be in the ring, so thankfully he can have the chance to showcase that potential in the near future.
What do you think of Carrillo? What is next for him? Let us know in the comments below.
