Impact Wrestling Negotiating With Top Indie Star

Someday their prince could come. Impact Wrestling is in need for some fresh talent. With Jeff Jarrett leaving and potentially taking a bunch of names with him, the promotion is now needing some new blood. There are always going to be available talent out there and the company is looking into one of the bigger names.

According to PWInsider.com, Impact Wrestling is currently in negotiations with current PWG World Champion Ricochet. While there is no word on Ricochet coming in, the company is also interested in signing his girlfriend Tessa Blanchard, which could influence his decision. Ricochet is best known for his time as Prince Puma in Lucha Underground and his run in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Opinion: Ricochet isn’t going to last long as a free agent so the interest is far from surprising. If he doesn’t sign with Impact Wrestling, there’s a good chance he’ll be heading to Orlando with WWE in the near future. He’s a very talented performer who has been wresting against top talent for a long time now. A bigger platform would be great news for him.
