So long for now. While WWE and AEW receive almost all of the attention in the wrestling world these days, there are several other companies out there who can offer some rather good wrestling as well. They might not get the same amount of notice, but it does not mean that they are putting out a bad product. Another one of the higher profile wrestling companies is now undergoing a bit of a personnel change.

A wrestling commentator is one of the most important parts of any wrestling show. They are there to keep the show moving in the right direction and can tell the audience where they should be looking. That is a hard feat to pull off and having the right chemistry can be incredibly difficult. One company is about to make a change and it could be quite a loss for their broadcast.

According to PWInsider.com, Madison Rayne is leaving her position as Impact Wrestling color analyst. Rayne is leaving the company completely as she is taking a job outside of the wrestling industry. She and her husband Josh Matthews have been calling the show since March 31, 2020. There is no word on who will be replacing Rayne on the commentary team. Rayne is a five time Knockouts Champion and has also hosted the Locker Room Talk interview segment.

She has been around for a bit. Check out Rayne’s time in the company:

Opinion: I know Impact Wrestling might not get the most support in the world but I’ve always liked Rayne and Matthews on commentary. They had a certain chemistry together and it was fun listening to them bicker while also calling the matches. I’m almost worried about who might be taking Rayne’s place, as there are not very many great options out there at the moment.

How did you like Rayne’s time on commentary? Who should take her place? Let us know in the comments below.
