It’s often the answer to your question. Whether you like them or not, there is no denying that WWE is a huge company. They have taken over the wrestling world and have had very few competitors for the better part of two decades. That is an amazing stretch and as a result, they are able to write a lot of the history. One thing is missing though and it turns out that Vince McMahon is the reason why.

WWE has been around for a very long time and has an amazing history in the wrestling business. Given that they have basically taken over the majority of the industry, they also have one heck of a collection of artifacts and memorabilia. That could come in handy for a Hall of Fame, but a physical version doesn’t exist. Now we know why that is the case and it is a pretty simple reason.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, McMahon has not allowed a physical Hall of Fame to be built because he believes that such a facility would lose money and does not want to deal with such a problem. This comes after Ric Flair recently mentioned that WWE would be building a physical Hall of Fame in Orlando, Florida, though he did not give any specifics on when it would be opening.

Yeah it’s worth trying. Check out some WWE Hall of Fame moments:

Opinion: I can understand McMahon’s thinking on something like this and while I can’t imagine a WWE Hall of Fame being a popular attraction every day of the year, it would be nice to see some of the things that WWE has in its vaults on display. There is so much history there that it is a shame fans are unable to see it. Throw in the fact that it’s just a little weird to induct someone into a Hall of Fame that isn’t actually there and it makes for a strange situation.

Will a Hall of Fame be opened? Who else should be inducted? Let us know in the comments below.
