Who saw this one coming? If there is one thing that I’ve learned about wrestling over the last few years, it is to never say never. Who would have thought that Daniel Bryan would get back in the ring after such a long layoff? Or that a women’s match would main event WrestleMania? Or that Baron Corbin would be a main eventer? The lesson has been proven again.
This week on Monday Night Raw, the OC of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows won the Raw Tag Team Titles in a triple threat match from former champions the Revival as well as the Usos. The win comes just a few months after the two of them were rumored to be leaving WWE but eventually re-signed on new five year contracts. Their stable mate AJ Styles is the current United States Champion.
The team certainly has plans. Check out an OC group meeting:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that I love about wrestling. You never know what kind of thing you’re going to see from week to week and that makes things so much more entertaining. Gallows and Anderson had been rightfully written off by a lot of fans and now here we are. It gives you a reason to keep watching from week to week and that’s one of the best things about wrestling.
How surprised are you by the title change? How long will the OC hold the titles? Let us know in the comments below.
