He's Back: Major Return Set For This Week's WWE SmackDown

Welcome home. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster but not all of them are around on a regular basis. Occasionally there will be a star who does not make regular appearances, making it all the more important when they do show up. Now we are set to see one of those stars in the near future and we have a good idea of what he will be doing when he shows up.

WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio appeared on the MMA Hour and revealed that he would be going face to face with Logan Paul this week on SmackDown. This comes after Paul called out Mysterio for a title shot following his boxing match over the weekend. Paul has not appeared on WWE television since Summerslam in August, though no match between Mysterio and Paul has been announced so far.

Opinion: While it hasn’t been announced yet, the idea of this match taking place at Crown Jewel in November makes a lot of sense. Paul winning the title is certainly not out of the question either and it is interesting to see the idea of him facing a veteran like Mysterio. What matters is they are setting things up with some time to build towards the match and we could be in for a good one.
