At least they have a plan. There is a lot going on in WWE at the moment, with a lot of focus on how to fix the various problems the company is having. At the same time there are all kinds of shows going on with one coming as soon as the other goes. With all that going on, there is also the impending move to FOX for SmackDown Live. As it turns out, FOX has its own idea for how to get the show off on the right foot.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, FOX is planning on using a combination of two new cameras to help film the new show. In addition, they are planning on bringing in a host of celebrities for the first episode, which will be taking place in the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on October 4. At the moment, there is no name on which celebrities would be brought in.
Hopefully they don’t wind up on this list. Check out some of the all time great celebrity beatdowns:
Opinion: This certainly makes a lot of sense as WWE certainly has a history with celebrities. WrestleMania was built on the idea of having celebrities around and there is no reason to not do the same thing here. With the FOX name and the Los Angeles setting, it shouldn’t be that hard to figure out someone to come in and make the show look both more important and fun at the same time.
