The Future: Good Sign For How WWE Sees NXT Champion Bron Breakker

He’s the next big one. There are a lot of talented up and coming wrestlers in WWE today and a lot of them are down in NXT on their way to the main roster. You can tell what WWE is looking for when you see how these wrestlers are presented as the stars of the future are right before your eyes. That seems to be pretty clear with two stars, who have received a new honor in WWE.

NXT Champion Bron Breakker is now featured on the Banner on the WWE.com Superstars page. The banner includes several of the top stars from around NXT’s various brands, including both main roster shows, NXT and NXT UK. Breakker is one of three NXT stars featured, along with Cora Jade and NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose. He is currently scheduled to defend his title against JD McDonagh next week at NXT Heatwave.

The graphic includes: Theory, Rose, Breakker, Ronda Rousey, Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, Liv Morgan, Usos, Jade, Meiko Satomura, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Charlotte and Riddle

Opinion: I’m surprised that it took this long to get Breakker’s face on something like that, as he has been the top star of NXT for a good while now. Breakker is someone that you could see as one of the top stars in WWE for a long time to come and this kind of recognition would suggest that he is here to stay, at least for the near future. The talent is there, and if WWE uses him properly, they have a big star on their hands.
