That’s a horrible way to go. Wrestlers are quite the athletes and you see them getting in the ring week in and week out, putting all kinds of miles on their body. At some point that is going to cause some problems for everyone involved and there is not much of a way around it. That is the case for a wrestling legend, who is having some serious health issues in his retirement.

During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry and AEW broadcaster Mark Henry revealed that he is not able to wrestle anymore due to nerve damage in his back. As a result of the nerve damage in his sacroiliac joint, Henry has had to occasionally take a wheelchair through the airport. While Henry’s doctor has told him that the issue could be fixed through surgery, Henry should wait until he can no longer walk and use surgery as his last resort.

Opinion: That is never good to hear and it is sad to think of Henry, who was known for being such a big and strong wrestler, reduced to something like that due to his injuries. Henry wrestled for a very long time and put a lot of miles on his body, which unfortunately seem to have taken their toll. Hopefully everything works out for him and he can enjoy his life better, because that sounds horrible.

What do you think of Henry? Would you like to see him wrestle again? Let us know in the comments below.
