That’s not a bad problem to have. There are a lot of wrestlers under the WWE banner. Like, a lot a lot actually. There are so many that WWE has had to separate them into multiple rosters, including some wrestlers having to primarily wrestle overseas. That doesn’t mean they aren’t being watched though and it turns out that someone has caught the boss’ eye.
The WWE power structure is a rather interesting setup. Vince McMahon of course runs everything and is the big boss of the whole company, but after that it gets a little confusing. Several people have quite a bit of authority in WWE and most of them are former wrestlers. That gives them a different perspective on things and one young wrestler has gotten the attention of an older one.
According to Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, WWE COO and head of NXT Triple H is said to be “obsessed” with NXT UK talent Ilja Dragunov. There is no word on what this means for Dragunov, though he was in action at Worlds Collide in a losing effort against Finn Balor. Dragunov debuted in NXT UK last May and has been featured in a high profile feud involving Gallus and Imperium.

To add to that, I spoke to a WWE official in Texas who said Triple H is 'obsessed' with NXT UK's Ilja Dragunov.
2020 seems like a big year for these guys.

Dragunov can make an impression. Check out some of his moments in NXT UK:
Opinion: That is a very good sign for Dragunov, who could be a huge star in NXT and beyond for a long time to come. There is something so intense about those eyes and the fact that his finisher is a running headbutt to the chest makes it even better. I could see him being a big challenger for Walter and the United Kingdom Title in the near future and it could be a heck of a fight, which Triple H would seem to like.
Has Dragunov impressed you? How far do you see him going? Let us know in the comments below.
