Ouch, again. How many injuries can WWE have on their roster at one time? It seems that every single day there is someone going to be injured in one way or another in WWE and that almost never changed. That comes with being in the wrestling business, but the last few months have been terrible from one injury after another. Well now it’s another because someone else is hurt.
Kyle O’Reilly has announced on Twitter that he has suffered a back injury and will be missing some time, including the Download Festival from June 14-16. O’Reilly does not say he will be missing any more time, meaning the injury may be short term. O’Reilly worked the last two set of NXT TV tapings, which will take the shows up through early August and until Takeover: Toronto.
The medical man told me my back is still hurt so unfortunately I won’t be able to attend @DownloadFest this year. Im sorry to all the great UK fans, believe me I’m gutted to be missing @Tool but at least now @rikbugez has an actual chance of winning the air guitar contest.

This man can go. Check out O’Reilly against Pete Dunne for the United Kingdom Title:
Opinion: Thankfully this one doesn’t sound as bad as it could be, because a back injury can be rather severe. This is far from surprising given how much O’Reilly got banged up during Takeover: XXV with one bump after another in the ladder match. Hopefully he’s going to be fine long term, though you never can tell how long something like this is going to last, especially with so much wear and tear.
How good is O’Reilly? Will he ever be a single star? Let us know in the comments below.
