It keeps growing. We are about two weeks away from the 2020 Royal Rumble and that means things are starting to take shape. With so many people already tied up in the show’s two namesake matches, there have to be some moves made to fill out the rest of the card. That makes things a lot more interesting as the undercard can be quite stacked. One of those matches was announced this week on SmackDown.

Whether you like it or not, one of the biggest stories in WWE at the moment is the battle between Roman Reigns and King Corbin, The two have been fighting for months now and the feud shows no signs of slowing down. Corbin has become one of the top villains on the roster and Reigns is right there to face him, with multiple people backing up each of them. Now we know the next chapter.

This week on SmackDown, Corbin challenged Reigns to a match at the Royal Rumble, with Reigns accepting. The match will take place before both of them participate in the men’s Royal Rumble match later in the night. This will be their third singles match in recent months after Corbin defeated Reigns on the November 8 SmackDown and then again at Tables, Ladders And Chairs.

This was the big turning point of the feud. Check out the big angle between the two of them:

Opinion: This feud will not go away and I’m not sure who is supposed to like it. Between Corbin’s droning promos and their insistence on trying to recreate the one good thing they had with the dog food bit, I’m not sure how well this is supposed to go. Hopefully this is the end of it, but I can’t imagine that to be the case. It’s hard to believe that they will go from a TLC match to a regular match, but WWE has done some odd things before.
