It’s halftime. The WWE Draft is one of the biggest events that WWE presents every single year. The WWE rosters are changed over the course of two nights and some of the moves made are going to change things for a long time to come. This has been the case before, and it seems like it is going to be what happens this year as well, and now we are halfway done.
The first half of the WWE Draft took place during this week’s edition of SmackDown, with four rounds of two picks each to both SmackDown and Monday Night Raw. There were picks from both the other rosters as well as NXT, with several picks being used on wrestlers who stayed on their previous brands. Only half of the WWE roster was available to be drafted on SmackDown, with the other half being available on Monday Night Raw. The roster changes will not be made official until October 22. Here are the picks from SmackDown:
To Smackdown:
Round 1 – Roman Reigns
Round 1 – Charlotte
Round 2 – Drew McIntyre
Round 2 – Kofi Kingston/Xavier Woods
Round 3 – Happy Corbin/Madcap Moss
Round 3 – Hit Row
Round 4 – Naomi
Round 4 – Jeff Hardy
To Raw:
Round 1 – Big E.
Round 1 – Bianca Belair
Round 2 – RKBro
Round 2 – Edge
Round 3 – Rhea Ripley/Nikki Ash
Round 3 – Keith “Bearcat” Lee

There are some big names on the move. Check out some of the more prominent ones:
Opinion: This is an interesting start and there are some eyebrow raising names included. I’m curious to see where some of these names go on their new shows, but we might not be able to really get a picture of where WWE is going until after next week’s Monday Night Raw. The first night has already shaken some things up and that is going to continue to be the case next week as well.
