One more down. With the current and upcoming changes in TNA taking steam, one thing that has been on a lot of people’s minds is who will still be around for the new regime. While a lot of people are going to be sticking around, it’s now known that a former World Champion is going to be leaving the company.

After a few weeks of speculation, Drew Galloway has confirmed that he is leaving TNA. Galloway made the announcement on Twitter.

This comes just a few days after stories of Magnus considering a return, as well as news that Jeff Jarrett is going to be in charge of the promotion going forward. Galloway debuted in TNA back in January 2015 and is a former World Champion as well as the current Grand Champion in his first reign.

Opinion: The interesting thing about this is the upcoming ICW/WWE deal as Galloway is a major star in the Scottish promotion. There’s always the chance that Galloway could be brought in to “NXT” or even as part of the potential WWE UK promotion. Of course he could also stay on the independent scene and do whatever he wants around the world.
