Sean Waltman Talks His Relationship With Vince McMahon Today

Former WWE superstar Sean “X-Pac” Waltman recently appeared as a guest on the The Tomorrow Show with Keven Undergaro. He discussed a number of topics, including the passing of Ivan Koloff, Bret Hart, seeing Vince McMahon recently at “Monday Night Raw,” and more.

One of the sad stories as of late, as been the passing of both George “The Animal” Steele, as well as the “Russian Bear,” Ivan Koloff. Waltman commented on WWE’s handling of both events, questioning why he didn’t get a tribute video package, while Steele did.

“Nothing for Ivan, did they even mention him? I’m wondering why? And I don’t… I, I think that I might have an idea why. Maybe if George hadn’t passed away, maybe they would have done more? As far as for Ivan, I’m speculating, I’m wondering if he was part of that concussion lawsuit?”

One of the most popular superstars in WWE history is Bret “The Hitman” Hart. But, what was he like in the locker room while he was with the company?

“We always called Bret the lone wolf. That’s what we called him, because he was always alone. I rode with him a lot, believe it or not. But at the same time, he was that lonely guy. Strength in numbers I mean, he writes in his book and he talks about how we tried to get him to be in the Kliq. Yeah, of course we did, why not? We’re fans, he was great, he loved wrestling, s–t come on!”

Waltman has always been a very controversial superstar, due to his departures from both WWE and WCW, his relationship with Chyna and more. How does all of this effect his relationship with Vince McMahon? Waltman ran into Vince this past Monday night backstage at “Raw,” and said that the encounter was very positive.

“I saw Vince. Actually, we didn’t really talk that much, [we] actually didn’t talk at all. He just came up behind me and grabbed me and turned me around and grabbed my hand. It’s different, I think he notices [that] I’m not that guy anymore, ya know?”
