Welcome home? The Women’s Revolution has changed women’s wrestling in WWE and it’s been for the better. Just a few years ago, you might see a women’s match get five minutes at best and for the most part, the wrestling was absolutely terrible. To be fair though, you’re not going to get better “wrestling” for a minute and then celebrating. Everything has changed now, but we might be in for a flashback.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kelly Kelly is considering a return to WWE. Kelly Kelly is a former Divas Champion and appeared with WWE from 2009 until 2012, starting with the company when she was nineteen years old. Now thirty, Kelly Kelly appeared in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble for her first match in five and a half years. There is no word on if WWE is interested in bringing her back.
Here’s how she was back in her day.
Opinion: I wasn’t wild on this one at first but then I started thinking about it. Kelly Kelly was really starting to get the hang of WWE when she left and at just thirty years old, she certainly could have a long career. The main thing is she would now be in an environment where she could learn, as you’re not going to get much out of the short matches which had little to do with wrestling in the first place.
Would you like to see Kelly Kelly come back to WWE? Who else would you like to see make a return? Let us know in the comments below.
