You have to build up the ranks. Wrestling certainly has changed a lot over the years and that is a good thing. With the rise of AEW, talent has turned into a premium among wrestling companies. These companies are all trying to get as many wrestlers as they can and that is the kind of thing that can help the wrestles more than anything else. Another name has now benefited from it as well.
There are all kinds of spots available for wrestlers to occupy and a lot of them are in the women’s divisions. With women’s wrestling going from little more than a freak show to one of the most important parts of any given wrestling show, there is always going to be a host of talent coming in and out of any given show. Now a prominent indy wrestler has a permanent home.
As announced on their Twitter account, Impact Wrestling has signed Kylie Rae to a long term contract. Rae won a match on this week’s edition of Impact Wrestling, marking her second appearance with the company after appearing at Bound For Glory 2019. Rae appeared in one match for All Elite Wrestling at Double Or Nothing 2019 before requesting her release from the company for reasons that are not clear.
It’s a big signing for Impact Wrestling. Check out their announcement, plus Rae in action:

Opinion: Rae is someone who has gotten my attention since I first saw her and it is clear that other companies have seen something in her as well. She has the kind of talent that you can’t deny and hopefully it can be something she gets to display on a big stage again. I have no idea why she left AEW but if this is what works better for her, then so be it. Hopefully she gets to be as good as she is capable of being, which is quite a lot.
How far can Rae go? Who else should Impact Wrestling try to sign? Let us know in the comments below.
