You have to start somewhere. Earlier today, news broke that Eric Bischoff and Paul Heyman would now be in charge of SmackDown Live and Monday Night Raw respectively. This marks a major change of pace in WWE with all kinds of possibilities opening up. Things are going to change at least a little bit, but none of that can happen until the two start. So when would that be?
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, the change over will not be immediate. Both Heyman and Bischoff will be slowly brought into their jobs so as not to be overwhelmed by everything changing at once. While no specific date is mentioned, the change will not be taking place within the next few weeks. However, you can expect some subtle changes before their takeover is complete.
WWE isn’t keeping this a secret. Check out the official announcement:
Opinion: That is the best course of action as you want to give the two of them a chance to set up some ideas and get ready for their jobs. There is no point in throwing them out there without the best chance for everything going well. This is the kind of thing that could help WWE out of a lot of trouble and it would be a very bad idea to not give it as strong of a chance as they could have.
