Now that’s showing some thinking. Wrestling is like any other form of media in a lot of ways. Sometimes a story is designed to be a mystery with the wrestlers doing something that keeps you guessing. Some of these mysteries can be rather interesting and if they are done right, you can be left guessing in a lot of ways. That might not be the case due to some great detective work.
One of the more interesting stories in WWE as of late has been a mystery hacker sitting in a control room, controlling a variety of cameras and monitors. The theme of the story is exposing the truth, which was part of how the Otis and Mandy Rose storyline took a major step forward towards WrestleMania 36. We currently don’t know who is under the mask, but now we might have a better idea.
A theory going around the internet says that the hacker could be either Mustafa Ali, Shorty G. or a combination of both. Via a video released on Twitter, a fan has found that the statements made by the hacker are statements that were made by both Ali and Shorty G. The two of them have been off television as of late, with Shorty G. last wrestling on the February 14 SmackDown and Ali last wrestling on the December 13, 2019 SmackDown. There is no word on when the hacker’s identity will be revealed.
This is quite the detective work. Check out the fan theory, plus the two suspects in action:
Opinion: This is one of those things where fans can figure things out this far in advance and it is rather impressive that someone would put in this kind of effort. I’m not sure if this is correct, but it is certainly the kind of thing that you could see taking place. Either way, it is an interesting story and something that could go somewhere. If nothing else, it could give someone something unique to do and that is always a good idea.
Do you buy into the theory? Who do you want the hacker to be? Let us know in the comments below.
